Michael Gerrity is a veteran entrepreneur who, through his technology investment company GERRITY CAPITAL, develops industry-transforming digital news media, big-data and transaction-based platforms for the global real estate marketplace. These platforms include THE WORLD PROPERTY JOURNAL (‘WPJ’) — currently the #1 organically ranked International Real Estate News site in the world by Google today (and in 54 individual countries), and the recently launched GlobalListings.com platform — the world’s first global and searchable property listings platform with millions of individual property postings per month from over 124 different countries and growing fast.

Mr. Gerrity has also served on several Boards over the last decade that include the Central Florida Technology Partnership’s Digital Media Advisory Board, City of Orlando Technology Board, The Economic Development Commission, Film & Television Board and he is a founding Board Member of Digital Media Alliance Florida – a statewide digital media industry association. Mr. Gerrity is also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Editors (NAREE). In addition, Mr. Gerrity was also awarded the prestigious “40 under 40” Entrepreneur Achievement Award of Central Florida from the Orlando Business Journal in 1999.

Monsef Rachid

Director of Technology

Monsef Rachid is an Information Technology Manager and Software Engineer with extensive background in application development, simulation and information retrieval. Responsibilities include overseeing all IT projects at the company, web application design/implementation and IT resource management.

Monsef has participated in previous projects to study the Digital Media market in the state of Florida. He designed and implemented a set of online research applications and tools to help digital media experts and researchers collect, process, analyze market data, and create business intelligence reports related to the digital media industry. Responsibilities included the design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of large databases, semantic search algorithms, Geo-mapping, data reporting tools and analytics web interfaces. Monsef also played an important role in devising the research methodology and documentation of the project.

Monsef has also lead and participated in the design, testing and deployment of various small to medium scale software business solutions in a variety of domains including accounting, education, Internet technology and website development.

Monsef’s experiences expand over several technology disciplines ranging from software engineering and solution architecture design to web application development and database management.

Garry Cipponeri

Jerome A. (Garry) Cipponeri is the President and CEO of TradeRoom Capital Partners LLC and TradeRoom Capital, LLC

Prior to founding TradeRoom Capital Partners LLC and TradeRoom Capital, LLC, Garry was the Senior Vice President and Director of the Capital Markets Department for Chase Home Finance, the Mortgage Banking arm of JPMorgan. He joined Chase in August of 2004, but has been in the mortgage business for 39 years, and specifically, Capital Markets and Secondary Marketing functions for 37 years.

His responsibilities at Chase Home Finance included all hedging and asset sales, as well as securitization, sales operations, pledging, agency, government and MI relationships & captive MI’s. He also served as Chairman and President of Chase’s three private label security companies as well as running a specialized Asset Sales group. Prior to becoming part of the Chase team, he spent 19 years at CitiMortgage as their Senior Vice President for Secondary Marketing, responsible for hedging all pipeline and warehouse risk, selling all mortgage products and structuring Citi’s private label securities. He also served as President of CitiCorp Mortgage Securities Inc.

Garry is the former Chairman of the National MBA’s Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG), has served two terms as Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Capital Markets Committee, and he has served on the MBA’s Board of Directors as well.

Garry graduated with a BS in Finance from Wayne State University.

Felipe E. Larcada

President, Latin America Markets
Advisory Board Member

Felipe Larcada is a graduate of Babson College in Boston, Mass. with a business degree in Accounting and Finance. He started his career in 1978 as a CPA with the largest international public accounting firm in the world, working both in Latin America and Miami.

In 1982 he started his 34-year banking career which included positions with some of the largest banking institutions in the United States including Northern Trust Bank, Republic International Bank of New York, Mellon Bank and Regions Bank. At Regions he was the senior executive with overall responsibility for the Trust Division in Florida. Within the banking industry he has managed divisions in Trust, Private Banking, Retail Banking and Commercial Lending.

Felipe has lived in Latin America (Cuba and Dominican Republic), Boston and Denver, but most of his professional career has been spent in Miami, Florida. He is married and has 3 grown children who are all professionals within the hospitality industry. His interests include travel and sports (jogging, bootcamp and swimming).

Jeff McFadden

Advisory Board Member

Jeff McFadden is President and Founder of McFadden Realty Advisors, Inc. and Managing Director of Florida for Taurus Investment Holdings, Inc. In these capacities, he is responsible for day-to-day asset management including new development, redevelopment, portfolio acquisitions, dispositions, property management, project financing, leasing and various other activities. Jeff McFadden has developed over 1.5 million square feet of office and flex/industrial buildings in Florida and has been involved in over $1 billion in real estate transactions.

Before forming McFadden Realty Advisors, Jeff was the Executive Director and one of the founding brokers of the Central Florida office for Advantis Real Estate Services Company. Prior to that, he was a Principal with the Trammell Crow Company and its antecedent companies for sixteen years. Over his 30+ years working in commercial real estate, Jeff has been consistently recognized as a leader in the Central Florida market. His professional associations include the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) where he served a term as President for the Central Florida Chapter, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the Metro-Orlando Economic Development Commission, Chairman Emeritus for Coastal Conservation Association, Board of Directors for Country Club of Orlando, Board Member for Lighthouse of Central Florida, University of Central Florida President’s Council, Executive Advisory Committee for the Dr. Phillips School of Real Estate at UCF and a member of the University of Central Florida College of Business Hall of Fame.

Al Weiss

Allen R. Weiss is the former president of worldwide operations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, a $10+ billion business with 95,000 employees. As president, Weiss managed operations at the company’s theme parks and resorts, including the Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Resort Paris, Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club and “Adventures by Disney.”

Weiss began his 39-year Disney career as a teenager in cash control and rose steadily through the ranks. Prior to his role as president of worldwide operations, he served as president of Walt Disney World Resort. Weiss led the company to its largest expansion — including double-digit revenue growth, seven consecutive years of record revenues and profit and worldwide expansion — through a challenging global recession. He also spent more than 20 years in various executive positions in finance, marketing and sales, entertainment and operations.

Weiss is an active community leader, serving on the Give Kids the World Executive Advisory Council. Weiss is a member of the board of directors of Apollo Education Group, Inc. and Dick’s Sporting Goods, Inc., both publically traded companies. He also serves on the board of Alticor, Marilyn Monroe Spas, Pilot Flying J and Chuck E. Cheese, all private companies.

Weiss earned a Master of Business Administration from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida (UCF). He has been named a distinguished alumnus by UCF and has been inducted into the Halls of Fame at Rollins College and UCF. Weiss also earned a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
